Synopsis: For the mondo documentary Kiss My Snake, acclaimed photographer-turned-filmmaker Tom Tavee travels to the oddball village of Ban Kok Sa-Nga, Thailand, home to one of the deadliest snakes on the planet: the King Cobra. The 650 locals in this village maintain and breed the said reptiles as a tourist attraction, and engage in a bizarre local sport known as 'snake boxing' - where residents square off against the giant serpents. Venomous, lethal bites are not only commonplace but inevitable, yet the town harbors no toxin to counteract the poison, and the nearest hospital sits at least 50 miles away. Yet the notoriety of these events continues to draw untold numbers of tourists, year-round. Camera-in-hand, Tavee plunges into the fighters' individual lives, exploring the reasons behind participation in the sport, and also observes the snake boxing matches firsthand.     Source: RottenTomatoes.com
