Synopsis: Filmed on location in Detroit with a visual style akin to TRAFFIC, THE PASSAGE is a crime thriller about the allure and the cost of vengeance. Andrew Hill is a petty criminal whose life is thrown into disarray when his waitress girlfriend is gunned down during a diner robbery. He vows to abandon his life of crime, but reneges when he is approached by underworld boss Guy. Guy claims to know who the triggerman was in the robbery that continues to obsess Andrew, and offers him a chance at revenge if he joins in another robbery Guy is planning. But when the plot takes a turn for the worse, putting Andrew in a precarious position, he wonders how far he's willing to go for a chance at vengeance. THE PASSAGE is a gritty, low-budget crime film that uses the genre's classical theme of the personal ramifications of unlawful activity.     Source: RottenTomatoes.com
